Hello Cyclones! 

Welcome to week #6 of this season!

  • Entries due Monday at noon. Please also sign up to volunteer. 
• Thursday, July 13th, 6pm.  Carbondale @ DuQuoin
  • Entries due Wednesday at noon. Please also sign up to volunteer. 
• Saturday, July 15th, 9 am. Carbondale Duck Duck Race Invitational
  • Entries due Monday by 7 pm. 
  • This invite is free for Cyclones swimmers. We want as many swimmers from our team as possible.
  • Our theme is the "Duck Race" because each year we race rubber ducks through the lazy river as a fun way to have a 50:50 raffle. Ducks are sold for $5 each or 4 for $20. The owner of the winning duck gets 50% of the jackpot! Ducks are being offered in an online presale now with a small convenience fee and will also be sold onsite.
  • Heat Sheet Ads: Want to showcase your swimmer in the heat sheet? Or do you know a business that may want to support our team? This is an inexpensive way to support the Cyclones. 1/4 page ads are $15, 1/2 page ads are $25, and full-page ads are $40. Ads may include images, text, business logos, or COUPONS! Available in the online store now.
  • If you know a business willing to support the Cyclones at a higher level of sponsorship, we can place their logo on our website. Please speak to Crystal Honold for details.
  • We ask for swim families to donate items for concessions, find the list of items needed on Swimtopia's job sign up page or at the volunteer table by the pool during practice. 
  • Don't forget to sign up for a job.  We need all hands on deck at our home invite to make this event a success.
