Hello Cyclone Families,

We have a busy week coming up with our first home meet on Thursday.  Here are the deadlines:

• Carbondale @Du Quoin dual - noon on Monday, 6/24.   
• Du Quoin Spring Classic invite - noon on Monday, 6/24. 
• Du Quoin and Harrisburg @ Carbondale - noon on Wednesday, 6/25. This is our first home meet. Please volunteer for a job. We need lots of hands on deck to make this a success.  

Register your swimmer, sign up for volunteer jobs, and verify that you have registered your child(ren) at https://carbondalecyclones.swimtopia.com/swim_meets .  You can modify the registration info until the deadline.  If you have to miss a meet and the registration deadline has passed, please contact Coach Kamen via Remind or text him at 618-201-4592. 

The Tuesday and Thursday meets have no registration fees. The Do Quoin invite fees can be paid online at https://carbondalecyclones.swimtopia.com/shop or by cash or check during morning practice on Monday, June 24th. The online price includes a $0.25 per event convenience fee. 

UPCOMING PARENT MEETING

Hold the date for a parent meeting on Monday, July 1st.  We will offer two sessions, one in the morning during practice from 8-9 am at the Splash Park, and an afternoon session at 6 pm at the Carbondale Park District's Lakeland Building on Giant City Road.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT EVENT(S) MY CHILD IS SWIMMING AT A MEET?

You can check your swimmer(s) events in Swimtopia on the day of the event.  Go to https://carbondalecyclones.swimtopia.com/ and check the event's grey Meet entry box.  Although the Meet Entry will be closed, you can still click on it to view the event numbers, the distances, the strokes your swimmer(s) will swim at the meet.
